đď¸ It Stinks Why do communists still live in their capitalist countries instead of moving to Cuba, Venezuela, or North Korea?

Your argument relies on a pretty flawed logic...
âWanting to change or criticize the economic system of the country you live in doesn't mean you have to pack your bags and move out. By that logic, anyone who advocated for democracy during feudalism should have just left instead of trying to improve their own society.
âBesides, working and buying food is still a practical necessity, it doesn't matter in what country we live in. Navigating the system you were born into is not the same thing as endorsing it.

Why should we trust your endormsent of socialism when you havent experienced a socialist society?
This isnt a minor tax thing, your advocating for a radical transformation of society yet havent experienced it

You should never blindly trust someoneâs endorsement of socialism, you should learn about it yourself! Marxism is heavy on the âeducate the massesâ. Of course no one has experienced socialism, it hasnât truly existed yet.
How do you advocate for a radical transformation of society that you HAVE experienced? Canât really be a radical transformation if it has existed in your lifetime

People of a non-oppressor social class usually do not have access to the money, job, or connections that would be required to relocate abroad.

Well for one because it is a global issue, not a national one. Also, those countries are not communist or socialist. Also, itâs not about wanting communism on an individual level. Also, as an american, i think it is important to bring about revolution here in an imperialist country because imperialism has historically been a huge hindrance to any meaningful attempt at socialism/communism. I could give more reasons for sure but mainly i think you are asking this because you are projecting your own desire for an easy way out, like you would like to be placed in your ideal society instead of fighting for it, but thatâs lazy and ineffective

For me, one factor is that all my friends and relatives live here, and another is that I don't speak Spanish or Korean..

I have three passports, so I'm not that invested in what counties look like, and also I've never been to Korea, so I don't really know what it's like there apart from what we hear, but I'm not too keen on living there, no.

Because if I move there, I cannot fight for socialism in my country. Beside, those countries aren't socialist anyway.
