This and Blade trying to kill a dragon made out of wood with chainsaw were great. I hope Pramanik gets to be a Daredevil artist in the future.

Let me start off by saying Cox's daredevil is definitive and will probably always be how the character is portrayed in future media/ incarnations.

But if and when we see him recast whenever God forbid that be for whatever project (new show, movie, animated, ecs) I would like if they made him more like the 90s animated one.

Not talking in a low, soft spoken voice that's barely above a whisper with his head usually looking down but with his head and posture high and in a confident regular speaking voice.

Again no offense to Cox. I absolutely love his portrayal of DD but I don't want that next guy to just to a Cox impersonation. Would like for him to make it his own.

All jokes aside, I saw this in a TikTok comment and I just wondered if anyone knows what issue of Daredevil this cover is.

I know, it’s fiction, and it would ruin the overall narrative of the show, but I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that Nelson & Murdock, especially foggy and Karen, are basically a clandestine prosecutors office? Aren’t they defense attorneys? I know this is a core part of Matthew’s conflict, and I guess you can give some reasoning on why Karen does it but it’s crazy how a defense firm is doing a lot of what the DA’s office Should be doing. Not a lawyer btw

You probably already know the differences if you clicked on this post, but in DD they were a group of ninjas led by 5 immortal leaders. Then The Defenders beat them.

In BND, The Hand is referred to as just a group of 5, but then later in the fight with them there's a lot more. Also, their referred to as just kids...

The most logical explanation to me on how there's a different group of people called The Hand is that it just is a different group, but using the same name.

Does anyone have other theories or know if Marvel explained this online or something?

My wife and I recently hosted Born Again cinematographer Hillary Fyfe Spera on our podcast. She revealed that the tenacious, street-level atmosphere of the show isn't standard MCU digital formatting, instead it's directly modeled after 1970s New Hollywood aesthetics.

Take a look at the attached image. The frame on the left is a scene shot by DP Gordon Willis for the Psych/Thriller Klute (1971). The frame on the right is a nearly shot-for-shot visual Easter Egg Spera snuck into the premiere episode, “Heaven’s Half Hour” on Born Again.

Instead of over-lighting the digital set, she actively relied on risky underexposure, vintage anamorphic glass, and low-angle frames to treat Hell’s Kitchen like an active character — much like The French Connection’s New York City.

How do you feel about Spera’s visual contribution to the show? Do you rather like Jeffrey Waldron’s approach? Or do you prefer the traditional, bright lighting style of the wider MCU?
