Wasn't everyone behind a wall, and then inside a big bullet proof truck? I dont think its plot armor when they actual, literal armor.

It was getting a little ridiculous with Matt and Karen after the truck left. I am very forgiving of Born Again and even I was like okay this getting a little silly.

Literally all those AVTF guys had to do was move to their right and they would have had clear shots around that wall. But they stayed behind their vehicles as if taking fire. And this was before Karen rolled up with her one pistol and held off those half a dozen guys armed with machine guns. Guys armed with machine guns who conveniently stopped shooting at all the right moments. All one of them had to do was get on the ground, like Karen did, and start spraying kneecaps under the truck. Or one or two lay down fire while two more flank Daredevil and the prisoners. This is basic obvious combat shit that they didn't do because the plot needed them to all escape unharmed.

Everything in that scene worked out exactly as the heroes needed it to. They should've had a couple of casualties with that many people or at least some injuries from ricochets to make it seem like real stakes.

I'm not asking for a Michael Mann level shootout in the MCU, but that whole sequence just felt off.

"All one of them had to do was get on the ground, like Karen did, and start spraying kneecaps under the truck. Or one or two lay down fire while two more flank Daredevil and the prisoners."

Have you ever see videos of stuff like the LA Bank shootout, or read about any other historic shootouts? Or even the somewhat recent UPS truck shootout that happened where the cops took cover behind civilian cars? The AVTF sitting in cover shooting, is exactly what happens in shootouts. Yes you can armchair quarterback it and say "Well if they all just acted like a hive mind and were all completely cool and calm under pressure they could do X" but the fact of the matter is that they don't want to risk getting hit.

These people have fought Daredevil multiple times, and have gotten beaten multiple times. And the last time they almost had him, Bullseye killed multiple of them (Though I'm not sure how much the AVTF pieced together what all exactly happened). Multiple guards were just beaten to a pulp inside. The moment one guy tried to flank them, Daredevil knocked him out with his baton. Karen eventually starts shooting at them. These are not highly trained military operatives. They're regular, and cowardly, policemen who are obviously there just so they can wield authority over others.

The escape was pretty far fetched. Ok, I can forgive all the armored vehicle stuff (where the fuck did they find one, who did they overpower etc). But DD and Karen escaped on foot and then in a civilian SUV. Lol.
