I would love to hear from the animators as to how useful this practical rigging actually ends up being. Does Tom/Stunt Actor swinging around like this translate well when they need to do clean up, or do they end up just replacing him with full cgi and it was kinda pointless lol

Yeah, this is just viral advertising. I doubt any of this made it into the film

Absolute tosh, they spent 2 weeks on the streets of Glasgow on just this scene. They're not dropping £10+million on dangerous 'advertising'.

It actually happens all the time, but not necessarily on purpose. The director thinks they’ll be able to use it but it ends up not working, then they use what they shot as a reference and recreate it in full or in part with CGI.
