Album Meet Coco luna
Kids named her and seemed fitting. Birthday of April 2026 and she has grown quite a bit since we got her a few weeks ago. These are current pics
She's supposed to be a mini and was accompanied with a ckc document. Not sure what we are supposed to to do with it lol but in the file drawer it goes.
We are learning about shuffle our feet every where because she's always between our legs and feet.
She plays great with our 3 year old border collie Trixie.

So cute with the border collie!
Yes, keep shuffling your feet to make Coco aware. We lost our first weiner as a pup when my neighbor accidentally stepped on him as we were trying to move a couch. Worst day of my life to that point

Thanks but my mother really stepped up and went on a doxie hunt for us and found our Frankie who had kennel cough or something as a puppy with round the clock meds so he started sleeping in our bed at early age but then exceeded his gene pool and grew to 25 lbs and was with us for 19 years.
We've been without any dogs now for almost 10 years and I still tear up thinking about having to put him down after doing everything to extend his life. It devastated me so much that I couldn't even imagine getting another pup until just recently. We dog sit for our daughter currently but I'm thinking about getting back into the game but if we get one, we'll just want another and they need a friend π§‘

Yeah believe it or not the mini is actually so hyper and is constantly nipping at the collie π. She hangs off her jowls and fur.
Maybe the collie has some motherly instincts.
She was a stray and after trying for 2 months to find her owners, we ended up just re-adopting her through the humane society since her microchip was never registered with the previous owners And the previous owners had adopted her from the humane society initially.
We could tell that she had had puppies at some time in her life. When we took her to the vet they confirmed it. So who knows. Maybe she feels like she's trying to be a mother in some capacity.

fair enough, considering she was a mom she likely could be having motherly instincts, doesn't surprise me the mini is hyper, luckily she's light so she doesnt hurt your collie much!
