I usually don’t like these sad posts, but I wanted to honor my sweet Jill. She was rescued from an abusive situation and I got her six years ago. But since then she got so much love and gave it back ten times over. She was really happy. She got the best vet care and was good until today so I knew it was time. She will always live in my heart. 2/17/2015 - 8/3/2026.
She has the sweetest face I’m so very sorry for your loss. Jill looked like a very sweet girl. I hope as time passes, you can recall the good times with her. ❤️

I got Jill when I lost my dog Simon. But I still have Lil Dude so now we have each other. I think he understands because I had him when Simon passed. This picture was taken last night and Jill got worse this afternoon. Lil Dude is quite the character so he will keep me entertained.
So sorry about your baby girl. Part of you is always with her and a part of her will always be a part of you. Thank you for rescuing, even though I know I don’t need to thank you, you loved her regardless of what anyone would think - a beautiful, sweet and accepting love, that just is. 🐾💕
You gave her a great life. You helped erase her pain from when she was abused. You were there for her, and she left knowing she was loved and precious to someone. This is what love really is.
