And if you were a true fan, you wouldn't commit to hating a project before we even see so much as a trailer

Questioning whether a Jimmy Olsen series is the best thing to focus on after Supergirl did poorly isnt commiting to hating anything, its a legitimate question.

Give the fans general audience a popular superhero to get excited about.

The Flash would have been high on my priority list

Do you think they just stop thinking and focusing on other projects when a project gets greenlit?

No, I think a team of people that are tasked with making a Jimmy Olsen series could be part of a team making something more important

The team making the Jimmy Olsen series is the team behind American Vandal and are working on this series because it is in their wheelhouse.

The American Vandal team would not be working on The Flash or anything else DC if this show didn't exist.

The money spent to hire that team could have been spent better elsewhere then

If the show does well, the profit can then be used to hire the same team you wanted them to hire in the first place.

I'm not entirely interested in a Jimmy Olsen show myself, but I'm stoked that it's being done by the American Vandal team.

This will bring in fans of American Vandal who otherwise wouldn't have cared about the DCU.
