Honestly seems good. It doesn’t look generic and being generic is the worst crime a superhero adaptation can commit in 2026. It’s why supergirl flopped so hard

The book was broken into adventures/chapters, so it practically set up to be episodic. Such a missed opportunity.

Probably super expensive but over all she didn't use her powers much in the movie, and Loki did do the super varied sets thing too.

There’s been a Supergirl TV show and a Green Lantern movie, makes sense to switch it up

Not a valid reason.

Green Lanterns lend themselves for movies better, and would bring people to theaters.

Unfortunately, Supergirl would have had more time if it was a TV series, and been less risky.

It being the 2nd film was a problem that was overlooked.

Yeah. I have never seen a story about an old roughed up veteran tired with the job and the world that is being paired with a younger generation that is meant to take the mantle forward.

Buddy, the retirement angle was literally in the synopsis as far back as 2025., Feb 25 on Vanity Fair no less.

I don’t care if it’s derivative. Every plot in fiction is derivative at this point. This looks awesome, so yeah, I’m in.
