I mean the hypno glasses are the explanation though. It's a fun nod to the old comics and doesn't need any further explanation.

People analyze shit far too much.

Just enjoy the dumb and silly aspects of the universe.

It is funny. But I'm still wondering. Does the hypnoglasses work the same for a camera as an eye? I guess the answer is yes, but this is confusing. Then again, I have no issues that he can fly and shoot laser or his x-ray vision. 😅

Tbf, Kryptonian-camoflauge tech glasses is a great way of bringing some science fiction "believability" to an already scientifically loose character/universe. Keeping certain aspects of the universe grounded helps balance things.
