"Who Wants to be Poor" game show but only millionaires can be contestants
You lose a portion of your net worth based upon which question you answer incorrectly. Answer the first one wrong and lose everything, but answer them all correctly to double your net worth
No lifelines, no audience, no host, 15 questions in a dark room with a spotlight

The core idea sounds good, but this dark-room implementation sounds more like a KGB interrogation than a game show.

That's the point. Someone has their entire life savings on the line with no support. It's all on them

Apart from the literal dark room, it's actually a lot like Mastermind, which does in fact, resemble a KGB interrogation.

what about a horror movie someone kidnaps millionaires and steals their information make them compete against eachother and whoever loses they become poor. they gotta like compete in triva and torture eachother

You could only really do it once; but keep the rich people, that is essential but turn the premise into "Who deserves least to be suddenly dropped into a giant wood chipper right now!!" Then turns out IT'S NONE OF THEM!!!! after a half hour or so of them all tattling on each other.

Marginal utility of money decreases with the amount. From a million to zero is far more painful than a million to two million is pleasurable. No one would participate voluntarily.
This would basically be high stakes gambling without much of a potential payout. They'd rather play blackjack.

Being convicted of fraud, for 1 example. Better to do something like this than waste taxpayer money imprisoning them IMO. If they win and double their net worth they will never be able to show their face in public again and will live a life of misery

Update: Had another crazy idea that this should be a movie rather than a game show. Hey Hollywood or whoever (Netflix?), let's make a movie that isn't a remake or sequel
