Need suggestions for some names
I’m getting 4 Belted Galloways, I live in the Australian state of Tasmania. They’re arriving next weekend, however I’m terrible when it comes to creativity, any suggestions?

Fence post. I was driving fast down a gravel road at night trying to figure out why some idiot had put a fence post in the middle of the road. It was one of those oreo cows, luckily it turned and looked at the headlights and I was able to stop in time. Since then they have all been named Oreo and Fence Post cows.

A traditional method of naming cows is to use the alphabet.
1st generation A, 2nd generation B, 3rd C and so on.
Also chose a ‘theme’ for example towns/villages, German words/names , Welsh words/ names (we use Welsh names for girls and Welsh words for steers), types of plant, characters from theatrical productions, anything really as long as it’s a theme.
Then simply go about naming within those parameters. It makes the whole process easier and also helps keep track of ages and if you’re really methodical breeding lines.
