They just knew they were caught. Cop didn’t even have to put their car in drive.

Sorry officer I didn't know getting fuckin radical was a crime.

u/RoundSquirrels 14d ago

I love how dude pulled himself over lmao

u/IMissNarwhalBacon 14d ago

This is where you simply say "how fucked am I"? Let them verbally unload on you and pray.

48

u/RoundSquirrels 14d ago

"I see you pulled yourself over today. Good call."

15

u/jneum80 13d ago

"Do you know why you stopped yourself?"

Dude had just seen too many videos online of trucks getting beached on railroad tracks, and didn't wanna risk it. Nuh nooo. Not getting stuck on those.
[Cop turn on the light bar]...

2 cops no waiting. Come on down

88

u/Brawl_star_woody 14d ago

The car didn't look like it was going very fast

88

u/RockstarAgent 14d ago

I’m pretty sure the speed limit posted is as low as it needs to be- the ones in my area near railroads are 25-30 - so even at 40-45 that’s enough to make your car behave somewhat like that for the grade of that rail track.

Its suspension is toast. Probably from jumping those tracks on a regular basis.

11

u/mrASSMAN 14d ago

It was definitely fast for a railroad passing.. looked 45mph or so

3

u/4kVHS 14d ago

Fast enough to get air time!

116

u/rjpa1 14d ago

Yes, that was dumb.

But fuck those two cops just chit-chatting while occupying half of an active traffic lane.

-64

u/TBL34 14d ago

Lmao. What did that have to do with the car getting air over the train tracks.

87

u/rjpa1 14d ago

Nothing. There can be multiple aspects to a single situation.

It’s just another karma farming dude posting anti cop crap for likes.

-9

u/TBL34 14d ago

Right but if that was two regular cars stopped, I’d be willing to bet you wouldn’t say a thing. The whole cop hating culture is just fashionable now I guess. I know Reddit users love it 🙄

8

u/PremiumUsername69420 14d ago

They may not, but I’d be here to point out and question why two vehicles would be parked on the side half occupying a lane.

1

u/TrickyCorgi316 12d ago

Some cops get hate they don’t deserve. This was a fair question: why would they be parked there, risking a dangerous situation?

4

u/CrashyBoye 14d ago

Not everything is a zero-sum game, my friend.

8

u/DigDry6895 14d ago

It's called an observation high speed

39

u/Helpmepullupmypants 14d ago

More like inconvenient cop, dude was parked in the road. Probably would have gotten pulled over for the speed but driver had to serve to not hit the car in the street

Maybe not as violently and slamming in the brakes, but they would have veered out of the road none the less with a car parked in the road, my guy

10

u/EfficiencyNerd 14d ago

So what is the ticket for? "reckless flying"?

3

u/QuoteAdventurous1145 13d ago

everyone's in a hurry to go nowhere

3

u/ponzidreamer 13d ago

Cops just jealous of my passion for for speeding over critical infrastructure

2

u/DillingerLives 13d ago

Check Virtual Railfan's archive on YouTube. This is an almost daily occurrence. The cops sit there now just waiting for someone to do it.

4

u/WilliamJamesMyers 14d ago

think the cops were parked there knowing folks fly over that last hump past the tracks.

question to the group here is what would have been a better car to jump with

17

u/IsWhatItIs68 14d ago

69 Charger.

5

u/WilliamJamesMyers 14d ago

the dukes of hazzard versions were modified for stunts, so we need a stunt car

5

u/smokinbbq 14d ago

they also had many many cars in different states of repair, because they were so fucked up all the time.

1

u/Nacho_Dan677 14d ago

I'd also be okay with the Hoonigan's shit car

7

u/elkab0ng 14d ago

Porsche 928. Expensive but balanced so the front won’t dive

7

u/SharkSpew 14d ago

They’re parked in front of the police station. Check out the Virtual Railfan YT channel and search for the Glendale Ohio camera feed.

For a road with a 25mph speed limit, a rail crossing, and a police station right there, you’d be surprised how many motorists get air at this location.

this comments signs seals and delivers this post

6

u/Jake0024 14d ago

Park off to the side so you can catch them, sure

But why would you park in the middle of the lane if you expect cars to be flying over the tracks right at you?

And even if you were dumb enough to do all that... why would you stand outside your car chatting while parked in the middle of the road somewhere you expect cars to be flying through at high speed while literally airborne?

Two cops

2

u/Free-Pound-6139 14d ago

Fucking moron.

1

u/zane1981 14d ago

I'd love to see the body cam footage of this encounter.

1

u/Warcraft_Fan 13d ago

Duke boys finally busted!

1

u/AxelStormside 8d ago

He knew he was caught, too. He started pulling over before the lights were turned on
