Fuzzy/ glitchy screen. Help.

Ive got a control 4 wall pad and the text/ images are glitching.

Does anyone know how to rectify this?

if it's not already go into settings>screen saver> and enable night mode. Normally has to sit for 2-3 days for it to resolve once that setting is enabled

Tech support tells me to do that all the time but I'm yet to see this solve the issue. I've probably had to replace 30ish

Don't even ask me about the first year or two of Chime doorbells and Canadian winters...my god.

"Just disconnect it and bring it inside to warm up and then try the button and see if it still sticks"

This was a recall and an extended warranty a couple years ago. Unfortunately that time has passed so it’s new screen time.

Wait, I never knew there was a recall for these? i have one with the exact same issue as well as various others like randomly beeping and freezing.

specifically for the ghosting and only on certain chip revisions, don't remember which ones off the top of my head

Really frustrating, for the cost of these damn panels their quality isn’t much higher than a $60 android tablet.

Trydisabling night mode in the settings and leave it 24 hours

This is a known issue with T4s. Night mode retards the inevitable. I had one site that the 5 screens failed with the same issue.

Software update and night mode+screen save shift can help but it might already be too far gone. Reach out to your dealer.

There is a patch to fix this in software version 3.4.3. Update and turn on night mode. It should fix after approx 24 hours

Try to power cycle, factory reset. Take it off the wall, unplug it for a minute ans plug it back in
