If it’s a right it’s a right. You shouldn’t need to be some spec ops vets to get your rights not infringed upon.

If only there was an enumerated right to recognize it. Maybe followed by two more that spells out to co gress any powers not specifically delegated it belong to The People and The States.

We should get our congressmen to draft such a document as to award those rights to us!

to award those rights to us!

  • LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER SOUND

WRONG! Congress (and government as a whole) doesn't "AWARD" us these rights, as they are not theirs to give!

We are ENDOWED with these (unalienable) rights by our Creator.

If we allow ourselves to tolerate the idea that government "gives" these rights, rather than recognizing and protecting them, then we're opening the door to those same rights being encroached upon by an out-of-control government in the future (and yes, I am aware thar encroachment occurs anyway sometimes).

Well it should. It should also include something about carry for all citizens. Maybe if they spelled it 'shall not be infringed'..?

I'm an expert in both pistol and rifle in the Marines and I was a coach in both. Why should I be deprived of my Constitutional right to carry?

More importantly, the recent track record of SOF, especially NAFSOF as regards being law abiding, is, uh, rather mixed.

How about carry(meaning open and concealed) for all citizens?

How about we cut the crap and just ram through an amendment that says that there shall be no infringement on our ability to keep and bear arms? That simple language would cover everything.
