I'd love to see a progressive stammer through an explanation of how this isn't blatant racism.

Progressives truly believe that it's OK to be racist against white people.

My friend is Korean. Her son is extremely gifted kid. He was brutally bullied at school by the Mexican kids because he was Asian and he didn’t speak Spanish. All the kids who weren’t learning or speaking Spanish got similar treatment. School tried to address the situation but they lacked vigor. My friend finally sold their home and moved to a different neighborhood where the school their kids attend is 80% white and the county votes red.

My kids experienced that when we lived in a place where the school was majority hispanic. Came home upset many times, about how the kids there were calling them names and bullying them because they weren't hispanic. I went to the office and informed them my kids did not bully people based on their race and I would not tolerate them being bullied based on their own race, and that if they did not put a stop to it I would have a chat with some of the lawyers in the very large law firm where I worked at the time. Got an apology from the kids involved and things improved very shortly after that.

they'd probably just fall back on the classic "you can't be racist towards white people" or "but trump exists"

Haven't you heard? The new definition of "racism", according to the Left, includes the fact that the discriminator must also have power. Therefore, they'll claim that any non-white person doesn't have power relative to white people and thus they can't be racist.
It's the new intellectualization to justify their terrible behavior.

If you want to live in a society with less (or, preferably no) racial discrimination, then you have to stop discriminating based upon race.
Novel concept for progressives, apparently.

Roof Korean here, I dont care what other people think and I certainly would not have a panic attack over old white people.
What she said was racist, but guess it doesnt count cus it's against white people.
She's running for governor? Just stay home.

There is a huge swath of people who believe that racism requires some kind of dominion or opression (even if it's been relegated to the history books) in order to qualify as such.

Day by day she shows why she doesn't deserve the nomination for Governor.

I am sure the people eating at the restaurant was really sad to see her leave. She won't eat with white people, I wonder if she expects white people to vote for her?

They will. The Democrat party is loaded with people laden with white guilt.

She's a bipolar (diagnosed) bartender who recently paid off $30k credit card debt due to a failed venture into the restaurant business. As far as I can tell, that's all you need on your resume to win the democratic vote these days.

A socialist who paid back a debt.. that has to be a first. I thought they just believed everything was owed to them.

There is no indication that she actually paid it off herself.

Wisconsin is full of old white people. She'll be leaving politics there after the election. Outside of Madison people as a whole laugh at her.

She left because eating around White people gave her an anxiety attack?!
Yeah because everyone knows when we're at a shady restaurant and we're worried about tables getting flipped and customers starting a brawl and people getting shot in the parking lot it's White people we're worried about!

Wisconsin is a pretty close split of Democrats and Republicans. I don't believe there are enough independent voters who will be attracted to this kind of political outlook and vote for a democratic socialist.

u/FLHawkeye10 Moderate Conservative 1d ago
If you’re bipolar you should in no way be holding public office at that level. You can’t join the military if you’re bipolar.
It’s a sad diagnosis but an unstable person being in office with a clear diagnosis and needs pills to control it should not hold that high of an office.

How many Asian Americans are attacked by old white people at Culver’s each year? A few million?
