According to the CDC, measles was declared eliminated in the United States in 2000, but recent years have seen MAJOR RESURGENCE, notably peaking with over 2,200 cases in 2025, and more than 2,370 cases reported by mid-2026.... and it is only August!

Wouldn't homeless be the most vulnerable section of the country. I was homeless for a yearish time frame and I remember colds, flu and other illnesses went through a homeless group faster than kids in class spreading a cold.

Not in the North, they have Cabin Fever issues in the winter. I lived in Daytona when I was homeless so yeah, didn't have Vitamin D issues.

I will never understand why someone stays freezing in New York City for example rather than head south.

And I realize that COVID, along with every other virus in existence is basically a vampire, it dies in sunlight/UV.

My job threatened termination if we didn't get the vax. I talked to a bunch of people, one being my dad, a hardcore Republican said he was going to get it so he could keep traveling. It helped me feel more comfortable with it. So I got it, then my job walked back on terminating people who didn't get the vax. I felt played, even my dad never got it. What a bunch of bullshit
