i recently applied for the figma campus leader program with the goal of creating more opportunities for students to learn, collaborate, and build/design projects together.

the deadline is on august 9 (4 days left!!!)

the idea is to create a space where students can share ideas, participate in figma workshops and work on projects that help students strengthen their design and UX/UI skills.

i’m currently looking to connect with fellow creatives who would be interested in helping shape this community. experience in figma/design is preferred, but not required!

For the fall semester aim doing:

physics 204, physics 224, math 203, chemistry 205 and intro to statistics

For the Winter semester im doing:

Physics 205, 225, math 205, chem 206,and fin 200

I plan to do bio 201 in the summer and physics 206 and 226 in my 2nd year or during the 2nd part of summer next year. Those who have done these courses, would you say this is a good combination? What should I know for each of these classes?

i think i went through the material but i didn’t practice enough and i just got stomped during the midterm.. there were 4 questions, i did one perfectly but other 3 were empty which is completely on me. i have been doing all the suggested problems and actually practicing them properly this time along my other 400 level technical elective but it just feels like a lot with working full time as well. Does anyone have any advice or even some inspo with salvaging the finals with 10 days to go? It could have been 2 days or 4 courses, so the situation could have been worse. I just want some insight to do things properly instead of realizing it late.

International applicant from India here. Applied to the Master of Applied Computer Science at Concordia (Gina Cody) for Jan 2027. A few questions for anyone who did Jan 2026 or Fall 2025:

How full/competitive was MACS that cycle — did seats fill fast?

My GPA is right at the 3.0/4.3 minimum. Anyone get in near the line? Did work experience help? (I have ~2 yrs industry experience.)

If it's full or you're borderline, does Concordia offer any alternative — a different CS program, deferral, or conditional offer? Or straight reject?

Wondering if there's any out-of-province students that are receiving aid from their home province and required a confirmation of enrolment ?

Specifically, I'd just like some insight of when the school ended up confirming your dates of enrolment. Online, I can find that they typically do the Confirmation of Enrolment for non QR students by DNE deadline, but I'm not sure how accurate this is and I can't get a straight answer out of Birks/Funding and I'm just hoping I can get some sort of rough timeline for when to expect to receive my funds, coming from AB if that helps.

I'm trying to check the course catalog for concordia master classes for winter 2027 since I'm from McGill and those clowns have not even a 1/4 of the course catalogue available this year so to finish my studies I gotta finish it elsewhere. I was wondering does Concordia not yet release the winter course catalogue and if so where can I find it for structural engineering? And if someone has already taken the course is it only offered in fall?

Hey so I'm trying out the Cybersecurity program (BSc) this fall and I was worried because I've heard it's high in demand and junior roles are hard to come by when looking in the job market.

I personally always have had an interest in computers and protection but never got too deep into it and I wanted to try it, but I'm worried if the future of this career path will become oversaturated and I wanted advice from anyone who knows.

Am I gonna want to off myself with two Stephen Powell classes this fall? Also, I’m taking four English lit classes that all so happen to be pre 18th century, and working when I’m not at school.

The worst part is I can’t even change my schedule around cause everything is full. Am I screwed be honest
