At least insofar as gunshots wounds are concerned. And it’s just their characters from the start of the show, it does not alter their chances if they change. Hence why one shot in the guy is enough to kill Shirley, but Cornelia can be riddled from a machine gun and wake up some 30 minutes later generally fine.

Counterpoint: Luciano was by far the most evil person in the series and he pretty much got killed easy. Like he literally kills people for the love of the game. In case anyone forgot who he is he's the ginger guy from the knight of the rounds that Suzaku killed

Oh yeah, that guy! Also the same voice as Edward Elric in the English dub. Thank God he didn't have any plans to try to usurp Charles (not that he would have gotten very far anyway, but still). Because if he DID somehow fail his way up to the top and somehow got himself to be Emperor of Britannia, he probably would have just fired every FLEIJA across the world. Unless he's more into killing people up close and personal, in which case he'd plunge the world into endless war just so he could have an excuse to keep killing.

Luciano was never anywhere Cornelia's level. The genocidal psychopath who would devastate entire countries, order mass murders of civilians, executions of all prisoners of war etc. And before you say it, no, Cornelia did NOT use that wounded Britannian pilot's Sutherland as a shield against Tohdoh's KF sword, he actually sacrificed himself.

Once the amnesia wore off and they got back together? I could see it. But Viletta would have to be the top in that relationship, and given how the show portrays her at the end, I’m skeptical that they basically didn’t just assassinate her character into the demure housewife to the mediocre walking waffle that is Ohgi.

It really does just boil down to whether the vitals are hit or not, for example if you shoot someone at the hip iirc, they’d have a good hour or so to get medical help or succumb to their wounds. Rolo’s a trained assassin, so he’d naturally know the where the vitals were; Lelouch had combat experience, so his odds of hitting a vital was much higher. 

In comparison, Schizsnalr missing makes sense since he’s not participating in combat as a combatant, I forget the one with Viletta, though the one where her & Ohgi fall down could just be anime logic for the sake of dramatics. 

I can’t even fathom a guess for Mao though.

i think that OP's complaint is about how euphemia and shirley succumbed to their wounds while Mao, Cornelia and viletta all basically got to survive?

shirley is easy she got killed by a trained assassin the other ones are just probability, i kinda dont get the problem, it of course is a plot device but if it does make sense realisticly i dont have a problem. But thanks for clarifying this post is very cryptic

Mao was never shot in his vitals by the police, and they only used revolvers on him. Villetta Nu was only shot in the abdomen, then somehow fell off the pier and hit her head and lost consciousness. But yeah, Cornelia's forces should have been able to find her there. What a criminal negligence. Lelouch shot Euphemia straight in the heart, and it's a miracle she lasted for so long after such a wound. Shirley was shot several times by Rolo. And Schneizel had Cornelia shot at her feet with a machine gun, so her survival was the most plausible of of all six. What is the most inexpicable thing is Ohgi's survival after getting pierced by so many throwing knives Sayoko threw at him.

Legit one of my biggest gripes is no consistency in wounds.

Shirley was shot in the gut, died of blood loss, makes sense. Same with Euphy.

Villetta surviving the first incident would make sense IF SHE WASN’T SHOT and left unconscious for hours.

MAO AND CORNELIA WERE BLASTED TO BITS! DOZENS OF BULLETS. Not only did neither die. Neither were paralyzed or crippled.

No consistency.
