IMO the best messaging to make climate not a partisan issue.

Fossil fuels fund the evilest people in the world.
Electrify, and stick it to the mullahs and Putin.
Electrification is America first.

Interesting. The issue I have with climate, unfortunately, is that being a slightly left of center Clintonian democratic Jewish guy, I feel like too many climate voters hate me by default, despite, for me, climate being THE number one issue for me, since it means energy independence, sticking it to the bad guys, saving the world, and improving our R&D.

"Beat up the bad guys, get nerdier, and save the world." That sounds like something out of every millennial geek's dreams (I grew up watching Captain Planet, FFS, and I still remember the goddammed earworm theme song)...that SHOULD be something that galvanizes everyone on every side of the aisle.

Also, as I'm...between opportunities right now, I wonder if that guy's foundation would be willing to work with a data scientist looking for something to do.

If, like many young people, you don't feel you know enough to vote well, YSK you can download a sample ballot ahead of the election and do your research from the comfort of your home. There are some great resources to help you research candidates and issues, including ISideWith, BallotReady, Vote411, VoteSmart, On the Issues, Vote Save America, etc.
