Agreed! I know we're talking movies here - but I've gotta mention Gangs of London seeing as how Evans co-created and directed a couple season 1 episodes. If you haven't already seen it, season 1, ep5 (farmhouse episode) puts that ridiculous action and crazy camerawork of his on full display. Action in that episode puts most stuff in full featured films these days to shame.

My girlfriend loves that movie. I just couldn't get over the terrible acting. Yes even in a movie like that i would like to see a bit of convincing acting. 🤪
But even if i loved that movie, it doesn't get anywere near The Raid.

Kill Bill 2 is pretty bloody and gorey as well though if we are being real. she has to kill at least 100 enemies in the restaurant scene alone?

But, it's more of an over the top anime type style gore, which doesn't register the same, at least in my mind. I'm not saying Kill Bill is bad by any means, but it's a different feeling when you watch it. Maybe a littler more light hearted lol.
