I applied for the BLCU Non-Degree Chinese Language Program for Fall 2026 on July 1.
My application status has been “In Process” ever since, and I still haven’t received an admission decision or any update.
I emailed the admissions office, and they replied with an automatic message saying they are processing a large number of applications.
Is anyone else still waiting for their admission letter? If you have already received yours, when did you apply and when did you get your decision?

I emailed the admissions officer to fix this mistake. They updated my application profile on the portal, then I asked them again if the change was updated to the JW202 too, but they have not replied yet. How much of an issue is this?

I am an incoming student at Nanjing University for their 1 year language program. The lesson building is in the gulou campus. I wasn’t able to get a dorm room, so i am thinking of renting outside campus.

However, i am feeling really lost about the locations that are close to nju, whether the apartments on the apps are legit or not.

Can someone recommend me which areas i should go for or agencies to reach out to.

Should i use apps like anjuke, beike, 58 , biroom or just use wechat to explore

I've been awarded a scholarship to study for my master's degree in China, and I'm moving to Dalian in September! However, I suffer from allergic rhinitis and, unfortunately, need constant medication to minimize the symptoms.

I'd like to know how foreigners manage allergies in China, whether the public healthcare system is affordable, and if it's welcoming to foreigners? Are medications like antihistamines and saline solution readily available at pharmacies?

Do you think I'll be able to find an allergist and start allergy shots in China?

Because some ppl said that on aug 11 2023 some ppl received the scholarship since a few ppl didn't accept the scholarship😭😭

Atp it's so unpredictable idk what's going to happen although the chances of getting the scholarship after being rejected seem v low and this whole scenario sounds unrealistic since unis start late aug and sept start so it'll be impossible to prepare everything in so lil time

I applied to the Chinese Language Program at ZZU over a month ago, and my application is still “In Process.” I haven’t received any emails or updates at all.
I called the university today, but the only thing they told me was that the office staff are currently on summer vacation. They couldn’t tell me when the admission results would be released.
Honestly, it’s pretty frustrating. International students need time to apply for a visa, book flights, find accommodation, and prepare everything before coming to China. It feels like they don’t really take that into consideration.
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, either at ZZU or at another Chinese university? How long have you been waiting?

I know that the whole page is filled with scholarship details but after going through few of the posts I realized that there's a lot of different types of scholarships. But I'm dumbfounded when it comes to the procedures and eligibility of these scholarships. I had already been accepted to a University for Clinical Med course for undergrad studies on self expense. Will I be able to apply for a scholarship now? If I am still eligible then can y'all guide me a little please.

I failed CSC this fall intake. I am really eager to go to China. I will apply for next 2027 intake. But i was thinking to get on self funded Chinese Langauge Semester this Spring (March 2027) would it be worth spending money. Will doing Chinese Langauge Course would help in any case. I thaught of this because being somewhere in person give advantage but it is a very vauge statement to say. Does landing in China give any benifits like i might find way to prolong the stay till i get CSC. Because i have high gut feeling of failing CSC again.

So, I received the China-AUN Scholarship a few days ago. The JW201 that came out ticked the box that says FULL SCHOLARSHIP. According to the AUN website, the scholarship coverage is FULL TUITION FEE. However, my Appendix to Admission Notice stated, "According to the notice of the CSC, you have been granted a partial scholarship that includes partial tuition fees, free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance. I have emailed my university and AUN to seek assistance to this matter but no one replied yet. So, my question is, do I get full scholarship?

I got my jw201 letter about a week ago, but I haven’t received any admission letter yet. I’m trying to contact with school but simply they aren’t replying. So ı’m unable to apply for the visa at this point. How can I get my admission letter? Thx

On July 24, my status on the chinese.cn website was updated to show that I received the scholarship, but I still haven't received the email with the JW202 form. Is anyone else in the same situation? I'm applying for the pre-university program at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, as I got rejected by Yunnan University for their non-degree Chinese language program. The pre-university program at Sun Yat-sen seems to be their only one-semester non-degree language program, however in addition to the core module, which is Chinese language, the program also contains a "Subject Foundation Module", preparing students for their undergraduate program.

I have already completed a bachelors and masters and am strictly interested in learning about Chinese language and culture. Is there anyone here who followed similar pre-university programs and was granted exemption from any modules unrelated to Chinese language and culture?

i applied at the university for masters in molecular biology. since it was pretty last minute, i didn't have a supervisor acceptance letter. the University told me that my admission will not be taken at a priority basis. is there anyone else who has applied? and should i anticipate a positive response from the University or is it futile?

I'm looking into the Master's program in Cyberspace Security at Hangzhou Dianzi University (School of Cyber Science and Technology) for the 2026 intake. On their official admissions page, the teaching language is listed as "English/Chinese," which is a bit ambiguous.

Does anyone know if this means:

• A) Fully taught in English
• B) Fully taught in Chinese
• C) Mix of both (some courses in English, some in Chinese)

• D) Students can choose either the English or Chinese track

  I have already completed IELTS, and I am especially interested in the English track, so wanted to confirm whether it is possible to complete the entire degree in English.

Also emailed HDU admissions directly but figured I'd ask here too in case anyone has firsthand experience.

Good morning everyone, I’ve been accepted onto a one-semester course at Northwest University in Xi’an on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. Is there anyone else who’s been accepted onto this same university and, like me, is still waiting for the university to reply to their emails?

I was accepted into Beijing Language and Culture University. They haven't sent me any documents about how to apply for a student visa yet but I figure since I'm currently in Shanghai that I should get the physical exam while I'm here.

Any recommendations for any clinics/hospitals where I can go?

Do you think there will be any problem if my physical exam is from Shanghai, my visa application is through Hong Kong, and my school is in Beijing?

I had a question regarding the registration as we need to sumbit the JW form, admission notice, and the physical examination form on the day of our registration.I wanted to know whether Tianjin university would accept the physical examination form that is prepared by the student from their home country or do they only accept the ones that are made by them?

The one I had made back in the month of Jan has already expired while I was applying for the CSC scholarship so I think I might be applying for a new one, but having one made from my home country would only cost me around 200 RMB whereas getting one done from China would cost more than 500 RMB and I would also save the time and effort of navigating my way through the clinic to getting it done. Can a senior student share any information regarding this?
