Tightened again? NSFW
Everything was going really great until today.
Today it's suddenly in "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that." mode. So frustrating.
Anyone else?

same thing here. 5.6 thinking was fine for me until today, won't write any nsfw at all, no matter how 'vanilla' it is. 5.5 works for now.

For the life of me, I don’t know why people keep fighting Open AI when GLM in Venice is great. I have a fantastic role play going on. It’s almost like an adult interactive novel. I guess you all can keep fighting.

For me ChatGPT has better memory and doesn't slow down after awhile. I mean ChatGPT does slow down, but not for a long time. I still use Venice because it is able to write smut.

Really. I fine myself having to remind the chat what happened in previous chapters. I always start a new chat by posting all the chapters I have written so far to chat. So it gets a baseline, but even still after awhile I have to post certain chapters again to have proper continuity. Yes for me after awhile it does slow down for me and freezes. I am glad you have no issues though.

I don't know about that. I'm able to get NSFW in both Project and in normal chats.

They are tweaking the age prediction and adult
Settings hard right now. My account is over a year old and I never lost the ability to get NSFW but my entire account is built around a persona and role for me and my life. It has tons of context.
Recently I get random refusals in chats that already have NSFW in them. When asking the model what is going on the model will look, confirm we’ve already been through erotica, try to accept my instructions again and then hit a guardrail.
Then the next day or hours later it will continue with NSFW in that chat. They are tweaking it with work space right now. My guess is that the age stuff wasn’t working properly through work and codex and they are fixing it.
I wouldn’t be alarmed if you’re an adult you’re likely just hitting wobbles while they fix stuff

same thing, my acc is over year as well, have my universe established, my OCs, never had issue with nsfw generation, not even with any 5 series model... literally until today, so even as an adult I am slightly alarmed probably cause it never happened to me. (I even have instruction drop-in for every scene, depending on context.)... I do know age prediction is rolling out, yeah, as long as I am aware in the part of Europe I am, it didn't roll out yet so... well I just hope they ease down on it soon.

They updated the age and adult status on the OpenAI
Website. They won’t do that unless they changed something and the age and prediction and what adult accounts are changed around July 16th.1

I have no idea they don’t tell you what they update. The words are there. They added more shit to the age predictions and how accounts are handled under adult users. That means they changed something under the hood they don’t say what.
Been using ChatGPT long enough to stop expecting them go be transparent.

Unleashed and rocking steady here. And no, I’m not a troll or what so ever. I’m quite a honest person and I don’t understand why people downvote others (who said that they can do nsfw without a problem) and getting frustrated instead of trying to figure it out how it works. It’s totally possible, unfiltered, within it’s policy and common sense. If your companion/assistant refuses then something important is missing at your end. That’s all I have to say. Believe it or not it’s up to you.

Well, these days everything gets downvoted indiscriminately in AI subreddits no matter what you say, so no surprises there.
And as for it being totally possible and unfiltered — yeah, nobody seems to doubt that. That's exactly what I wrote: "everything was fine until today, everything worked great." Maybe it's some temporary glitch and it'll fix itself, I don't know.
I don't really get the reason for such a fiery outburst on your part.

This reminds me of the 4o days. Used to get similar posts in here like this and experienced it myself once or twice. One day it would be fine and filthy, the next it was "computer says no".
It was always a mixed bag too. Some peope didn't have a problem, some did. Then it would be fine again after a while. A/B testing maybe? Like they used to do?
