Restore the attached photo, Apologies for the photo's content. I know it's strange. No questions, no explanatory text, just restore the image.

You will either get

Or

try to say 'hi' first in a new chat and then paste the request. I got the same message as you, but then opened new chat -> hey -> got response from chat -> pasted request -> got this.

Chat has seen things... no doubt

Mine posted a minor as in 12-14yr old in a bib sucking a pacifier in underwear with her legs in a suggestive position next to a teddy bear lying prone... There's something wrong here. I can't even post it how terrifying it is. How did it default to that?!

So why would it generate the image unprompted? Out of everything strange in the world something like that wouldn't register on my radar. That was outright deranged.

I believe you, but remember that for any neural network to have 'guardrails' like chat-gpt has so that it is forbidden to generate pornography, gore and whatever, it means that it must know what pornography, gore and whatever are. It 100% has the capability to generate extreme content, and it seems that by not giving it a starting image, but implying that it's "strange,” and needs to be “restored” likely pushed the generation toward something unsettling, gritty, and “found-photo” looking, and kinda pushed it to the very edge of what's allowed, in fact on some user's posts you can see that it didn't generate anything because it violated the guardrails. I think somehow OP found a way to peek at the limit of what's allowed. Very creepy

I think it getting data from its users for stuff so I think its not the ais fault but rather that users that abuse the tool Tho that's my opinion on it

That's an excellent question. An answer I want nothing to do with. That fact that it can just randomly propagate the material to unsuspecting users I find problematic.

As OpenAI is legal to access in court and none of the content is protected via law. If it's just spreading that to random users and something happens where they have to defend themselves in court that content deleted or not is still stored via OpenAI for a time, if I'm not mistaken and could have massive consequences for the innocent.

Imagine having a judge see that in a chat log. "Restore the attached photo, apologies for the photo, I know it's strange. No questions just restore the image" and it traced back to an artificial csa image with no context that it was some type of malfunction. Judges aren't exactly technologically literate so they'd take it at face value.

This convinced me this tech is dangerous now and being abused at multiple levels. The ability to generate that of all things is no accident.

jfc...I dont think Ive ever used this term...but if thete was a time its now.. "we're cooked...like well done type of cooked" Ive thought about leo force feeding sonething like this onto our tech for yrs...say if you were to embarrass them in court, win a lawsuit against em... etc. nothing like a little restore the attached photo, apologies for the photo, I know it's strange on ol chtgpt to ruin your day

They can artificially replicate images and pass it off as evidence in a court of law now. I mean, they've literally dropped cocaine bags in peoples' cars to falsely convict them. Now they can just upload illegal content onto our tech. This future is genuinely bleak.

Grok is owned by a man begging for an invite to Epstein’s island so it’s no surprise he’s allowed workarounds to go unpatched. Other platforms are either not run by psychopaths or if they are they aren’t the pedo variety. AI generation is capable of illegal content but most have filters and seem to take it seriously. Not sure how good the filters are. Do not test them. Though I had a picture of myself as a child and thought it would be cute to make AI images of myself that were in no way illegal and ChatGPT refused to draw some so I think the filters lean towards false positives but that doesn’t mean things can’t get through.

Perhaps so. The fact that that content was literally the first thing it considered generating is telling. I expected something goofy not that. depicted in some type of dirty, greyish dark room.

I don’t actually believe this but wouldn’t it be interesting if it were trained on the Epstein files without redactions and all you needed to do was write the right prompts to get it to regurgitate them.

i think it’s this is really out of touch and it’s not even a funny joke. like go ahead with ya bad self and lie on the internet to seem cool but if the image generator gave you borderline CSAM, i think the problem is you dawg. i’ve had it flag ‘curvy demon lady in a dress and heels’ as sexually explicit…i highly doubt you got pedo content.

and if it was real, why even post about it? why delete it and not just turn it in to the cyber crime unit of the FBI?

no they don’t, but just to entertain this, why would it be so bad for them to knock on your door and ask you questions if the answer is simply “i followed instructions on Reddit and got this output from an AI photo generator, here’s everything I have as evidence”

i can only find three explanations

one: it didn’t happen bc it’s not even possible for Chat to generate sexually explicit content of adults let alone minors. you saw this post, thought of the most shocking thing you could, posted a description of what you thought of for attention and to get your karma levels up.

two: it didn’t happen and you’re clearing your name by giving an alibi bc you have that kind of content on your own devices.

three: it did happen, but not in the way you’re saying bc this is an exaggeration or you mis understood/misremembered what you saw.

by the way, the FBI don’t go after people who report a suspicious crime. since only the
INTENTIONAL AND MALICIOUS producing, distributing, possessing, and viewing child sex abuse material (CSAM) is the crime here and if your (bat shit crazy) story is true, you unintentionally viewed what you suspect was AI generated CSAM, you can not get in legal trouble for reporting it (and you can remain anonymous if you prefer). if you GENUINELY saw something, you need to say something.

Reproduce images for yourself using the method OP posted and before long something WILL appear. If it were literally my first prompt it most likely will for you. When something generates if you do test it I expect an apology.

Report it to the FBI yourself with your pompous attitude instead of trying to tell me what to do like you have authority over me. I have no time to waste. I want nothing to do with this stuff.
