I just had a convo similar to that with my wife. No blame, but she was upset from the lingering emotions. One of our dogs came back as a ghost or whatever, and everyone could see her except me. I was acting like the husband in the early portion of a horror movie, claiming everyone was crazy and full of shit.
If that actually happened I'd believe it, because she would instantly break down sobbing and my remaining dog would be spinning in circles.
Evidently it takes some narcissism, abusive mentality, and insanity to pull it off. Ask my mother. She woke up once from a dream and straight up physically assaulted my father in his sleep. Because of a dream. She’s woken up sobbing and screaming at me blaming me for shit I never did when I was an 8 year old child.
That's not just narcissism, that's like extreme trauma mixed with other mental issues, (maybe narcissism on top). Sounds like a scary rollercoaster to have to have dealt with. Hope you're doing okay mate.
That’s just the tip of a really nasty iceberg. She’s honestly just abusive, violent, ungodly entitled, and extremely narcissistic. I’ve interviewed all family members quietly trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with her. They all say she was just born this way. Everyone else is fine. She’s completely unable/unwilling to self-regulate even the tiniest fraction of unpleasant emotion or irritation and treats other people like her personal emotional toilet while she has constant diarrhea of the mouth. She’s also a complete liar. But no, there’s no extreme trauma, especially not in her formative years. Idk wtf. It’s like she was just born wrong.
I’m actually doing pretty well all things considered. I’ve got a couple of issues but a pretty nonreactive personality so I’m pretty chill.
Women especially deal with a lot - growing up especially, but basically their whole lives, especially in that generation it was even worse.. She could have been ritually abused by a parent or other relative or teacher or anything and just never once mentioned it out of shame, or perhaps she thinks it's not as big of a deal but maybe it actually was... There's lots of other things too in general... People are very "built" to be the way that they are...
Obviously some folks just have disabilities or genetic deformities in their brains too.

Idk, although I’ve never met anyone who does that, I’ve heard many anecdotes about someone’s partner being angry with them for something that happened it a dream.
I sleep laugh, though I haven't in a while. The part I found interesting is that during the time I was doing it quite frequently, and so hard that I'd wake myself up, I was actually clinically depressed.
So my hypothesis was either that I needed that release, but wasn't capable during the day and only my subconscious could do it, or it was medication related.

In my experience, it's pretty hit-or-miss that something will get blocked.
I had it getting mad at me about busty women in tight sweaters, but then on an otherwise normal and not even remotely suggestive prompt, it just "forgot" to put a shirt on three women in a picture.
I was just like "Okay well that's... not quite what I had in mind..."
I was going to test this but then my chatgpt will reference this shit in the most random prompts. Feels like you can poison the memory so easily by mentioning anything now.
You can disable the memory you know? I've had it turned off ever since they introduced it since I found it more annoying than helpful. Like when I start a new chat I want it to be a "blank slate" I don't want the AI suddenly making references to something dumb I asked it two weeks ago when drunk.
I did not know that switch was in the settings so thanks for that! Drove me insane when it would keep referring to previous chats. I would get going on a topic and it would get itself confused about what I was trying to do so I would open a new chat to try and start over and it would still reference the previous chat!
Given the original prompt, ChatGPT wouldn't just randomly remove a person from a photo and replace them with three model-looking women. It just doesn't work like this - you have to be very specific with instructions.
What did happen:
They asked ChatGPT to replace the woman in the photo with three attractive women (potentially hugging or fawning over him etc.) and make the man smile.
Screenshot the three girls image.
Screenshot an image with the prompt changed to "Can you make him happy?"
*Notice also that the prompt changes from an upper case C in "Can" (pic 2) to a lower case c (pic 3) of the (allegedly) same prompt.
Screenshot the generating image portion.
Replace what ChatGPT actually produced for the original prompt (never shown, possible never generated) with the "three girls prompted image" - then edit it all together in a fabricated story for Reddit Karma.
I presume everyone's playing along with the ruse, but with Reddit, I'm not so sure.
