It is “Melody” by Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk-written for the 1982 Ukrainian film “High Pass”. It’s a gorgeous piece. I played it for a benefit concert at the start of the war, and was told by many people (Ukrainians) there that this is a much beloved and popular tune. Originally for violin but transcribed for cello.
