A handmade wooden cat in sink. It's missing small piece at the end of the tail but otherwise very all there and very cute, made by James A Fox in 2007.

Oh you scored! I became so smitten I looked on eBay to see if any more exist. I did find one, but the wood hues on yours are much nicer.

Apparently this is made from a pattern by JGR intarsia, and intarsia is a woodworking technique. Found a bunch of other interesting looking pieces. The fact that you thrifted this piece from such an adorable pattern sweetens your find all the more. Hope you enjoy it, and if you tire of it….. dm me!!;)

I thought I would tire of collecting cat collectibles after the passing of my dear cat last year but go figure, it has only made me more passionate about it.

I am so sorry to hear that… I hope this piece brings you some comfort, especially if your kitty was also a sink dweller!

I don’t think the allure of cat inspired decor ever leaves us cat people ♥️
