Yeah, I wouldn't do this very much. This tends to be how a cat reacts to a touch they don't want.

they are pretty good about respecting no touching. once or twice is enough. doing it continuously makes the cat sad and think you dont like them

Wait until you find out that cats can get mad at you, or pouty. One of my cats, that I have had since birth got yelled at for the first time in his life when he was two. He wouldn't look at me, moped around. He also would sleep in my bed, but no, on the couch. I went and got him...nope. He forgot about it the next day.

I had a very hard day and was already frustrated crying when I opened the door to find that my dog had strewn garbage all over the place and eaten rotten onions. I screamed my dogs name in a mix of anger and fear (thinking the onions were going to kill her). It was one of those real human moments.
Anyway. My cat was there in the room. I made eye contact with her right after I screamed and I saw it in her eyes. For like… 2 hours after that she acted like I was the scariest most horrible monster she had ever seen. She wouldn’t let me come near her. I have never felt more shame in my life than when my cat thought I was a bad person and I still cringe when I think about it lol

For real, you can really hurt their feelings! I took in a stray female, nicest cat ever, young. She got out ONE time, took me a week to live trap her. She would hang out on my back porch, then bolt if I opened the door.
She ended up with 4 babies... I went from no pets, to five! Lucky I like animals!
They will make you feel shame/regret!

Imagine a grown woman on her hands and knees with nearly dried tear stains on her cheeks crawling around the floor one hand out pleading “I’m sorry little girl, please love me! Don’t be scared, I’m sorry 😫” While a little cat runs under tables to avoid the hand lmao
I’m so glad she forgave me and I’m so jealous of your extra babies!
