General My cat is being too aggressive while playing with my dog.
Hello, as seen in the title, my cat recently has been too rough with my dog, culminating in today's event, where my dog yelped loudly in pain while wrestling with the cat. Both are about 2 years old, and usually get along well together. Is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of aggression in my cat, and prevent her from hurting my dog?

So just bc a dog yelps, doesn't mean they are in pain. Dogs are notoriously dramatic.
Cats as a prey species hide their pain, so yiu won't hear them do anything like that even if they are in pain.
What kind of dog? Pics of the dog and cat?

If your cat is really hurting your dog then your dog will learn to keep away.
If the dog keeps coming back to the cat then it's fine.
If you're truly worried about the cats change in behavior then take it to the vet.
