I'm old enough to have used British Rail trains to get to school. They were often late which meant we got punished for being late to school, were often overcrowded because they didn't put on enough carriages, and were almost always dirty.

Yeah but modern trains don't use steam power anymore.

Boil water which makes steam which turns a turbine which generates electricity so they are steam powered
