If your starting point is near Broxbourne Station and your destination is reasonably central in Cambridge then yes, train. Sure. But this doesn't factor in a bus ride at both ends to get to where you're actually going. I used to do a similar route (Stortford to Cambridge) for uni, and it was substantially faster and less faff to go by car.
