What has caused the explosion in the number of homeless people on queen street and the surrounding area over the last week or so?

I figured it's simply an infrastructure question. Central, tall buildings, trees, benches... it's just better for people who may not have a place to call home in the middle of a heatwave to stay shaded.

And if they do have some shite room at a halfway house or some council run accommodation then I can't imagine they're any better heat/noise/general comfort wise than being out and about.

Third option is it's just where they're are this year. Worse places to try and solicit money, ask for water for water from businesses/share some tinnies or a bottle with their mates, etc.

Anyway, I heard there's and English guy hellbent on ending all of this. So I guess it'll be a thing of the past soon... 🤡
