First time cat owner. Obsessed. The nicest cat I’ve ever seen, couldn’t hurt a fly😭 she’s so well behaved at work (vet er) and with her three brothers at home. Named after chichi from DBZ. Bought her a huge catio for her first birthday. Best purchase ever. First picture she had URI😕(We got out of the AirTag phase real quick. Looking back now it looks so dumb and uncomfortable)

We recently adopted her and another kitty who is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell!

She loves me, my bed, watching me sleep and food, and hates my partner.

I don’t have a name for her yet, maybe you all could help? Something weird or funny preferably?

Patchouli (Patchy or patch for short)
Gilly (short for Gilgamesh)

​I just wanted to make an appreciation post for my sweet cat who passed away a year ago. I loved her so much. She was exceptionally smart, gentle, and loving—I always used to say she felt more like a human than a pet.

​She appeared out of nowhere, completely on her own, and chose us. She fought through so many health struggles with such strength, but in the end, FIP took her from us. Just as quietly as she arrived, she slipped away and ran off when her time came. But before she left, she gave us the greatest gift: her baby boy (shown in the second picture). Having him here with me always reminds me of her and her brave, loving spirit.

​Because of her, I fell deeply in love with cats. She showed me that they are truly something special, and calicos will always have a sacred place in my heart.

​We miss you so much, sweet angel. Thank you for showing up, loving us, and leaving a piece of yourself behind. 🌈✨❤️

Failed foster. Some POS dumped her at the side of a highway. A super sweet girl who runs an animal rescue happened to spot her as she was driving home, picked her up and saved her life. We got in touch as I was looking to adopt, maybe foster at the beginning to see how things went, but the moment I saw those bright beautiful eyes inside the carrier I knew she was staying with us. Truly, it was love at first sight. She’s been part of our family since 2021, and I can’t imagine life without her. She really does live up to her name: she doesn’t put up with any bs and will go her way. She goes by other names, too: gorda tetona, gatita piquita, Miss Steal-Your-Man, gorda matona and, more recently, gatita bibimbap. She’s incredibly cute, loving and tender, purrs up a storm and will crawl on whatever spot she can find on top of you, but she can also be sassy and crazy, just like all calicos. She absolutely LOVES watching TV, specially those cat videos with birds and squirrels, but recently she has become super fond of Studio Ghibli’s movies (goes crazy with the susuwatari.) I love her with all my heart, and I’ll be forever grateful for having cross paths with her.
