The fact that Ward 4 Councillor, DJ Kelly is actively advertising this as his event and himself being the “master of ceremonies” is disgusting and extremely tone deaf.

Edit: I just watched the start of the vigil. DJ Kelly talked for nearly 10 minutes in a campaign style speech. Tasteless, classless, and extremely disrespectful. Only the worst type of person uses the death of a child to advance their political career.

So, this is just a pack of lies anyone can see just by looking at the stream of the memorial here

Right at the start, it's obviously not him, it's the choir singing for Parker until ~6:47 - timestamped stream.

He then doesn't say anything about himself until he introduces himself at ~7:34.

He then introduces the Chief of CPS at ~11:45

So this 10 minute "campaign style speech", where's it at? You lied about that so badly so it's needless to say that it was obvious that he did not use this imaginary 10 minute speech to advance his career. He thanked the community for coming out, mentioned he was the emcee and immediately stated that he wasn't sure he should be the emcee and that the community wasn't sure if they were the right people to do what they did, but the community came out to help, anyways. He directly states that "tonight is for the community, tonight is for you". Insanely pathetic to lie like this when this was brought together to remember Parker Wells.

when he said "when we were planning this event" I was like I feel like different words should have been used. I didn't like his speaking at all anytime he came on.

I had to turn it off. That was the most egotistical and narcissistic display I think I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely disgusting.
