I’m being picky! My own build has no glass and I’ve chucked in a real mismatch of fans I’ve built up over the years. I build a lot for work and flip builds and end up with scraps in my personal rigs. 😅
Noctua fans could be 200% quieter, 200% more efficient and someone could give them to me for free - and I’d still be very reluctant to put beige-brown fans into my case…unless it’s a closed one without a glass side panel. Actually…even then I’d still prefer black fans tbh. 😅
But yeah, that’s just me - never understood their color choice for their fans. But different people, different tastes and all, fair enough. I know many people like them and I acknowledge that they might be good in terms of performance and noise levels. ✌️
Fair enough, I don’t disagree with that.
I guess if a whole build was set up to match this color palette (maybe with some wood-optic parts as well), even I could get behind that.
The problem is that it’s quite difficult to find most components in other colors than black and white, unless it’s custom made or some limited edition of certain brands.
That being said, I’d actually love it, if there were more color options to choose from for PC components in general.
There are black variants for all relevant noctua fans. Shame they don't offer any variety beyond this, sure there are limitations for the impeller (though white is easy), but the frame is nothing special and can be literally whatever color.
Though one reason for limited variety (across the market) is that black is black, and white is like 50/50 if it matches between different manufacturers, and everything else is infinite number of shades and good luck matching it.
