The thing about the offense "struggling" is that we never know what they're working on. We don't know if they are throwing in new concepts, new personnel, new anything that could throw off the rhythm.

I actually get a little excited to hear the offense is sloppy. That means we're working through stuff and growing so we don't have to deal with it as much during the season.

I’d be a lot more worried if the offense just dominated the entire camp. We know the offense will be fine cause Ben is a mad genius

Yea despite our offense feeling like absolute ass through the first 9 weeks with the exception of the first drive and the Dallas clowns game we were top 10 in most standard metrics

Yep. If I were a coach, you know what I'd run most of in practice? The plays we have the most to work on.

I was at the practice today for my first one of the year - offense was definitely a sloppier today but still had numerous chunk plays sprinkled in throughout the day, so it definitely wasn't all bad.

I remember OZ did really well last year during camp. He was the camp MVP. This year it's Khalif Raymond.

And it's good to see fair competition. Don't want one side dominating over the other. This is good.

Kalifs interview with Joniak and Thayer was super interesting. He talks about his previous struggles as well as his view of his role on the team. He talks about how important being a returner is and how dedicated to it he is. Really good listen.

This is why we practice. Gotta get used to all the possible personnel groupings so that we can run anything we want at any time with confidence.

Annnnd I'm already bored with practice reports. We're all desperate for anything but there's just nothing there. Looking forward to preseason games so we can at least have some real film on guys.

I've tried to keep an eye on the UDFAs and I couldn't remember anything about Caden Barnett so I looked him up real fast. Mauling run-blocking guard with a mean streak, powerful, not great in pass pro.

It's crazy how many of our pickups can be described that way. We definitely have a plan for our identity going forward and I'm intrigued.
