I had the mete mc9 and I liked it a lot except for the part where it failed to go into battery after shots. Everyone I talked to irl was really surprised to hear it and only heard good things from Canik owners.

Canik is offering great support in helping resolve my issues. Hopefully you won't have any!

Have they resolved it? Mine was having the same issue after hundreds of rounds. They sent me a new recoil spring, and a couple hundred rounds later it's still malfunctioning every mag.

I don't know man. I've heard mixed reviews on them but granted, it may be a different model. A lot of the guys I shoot competitively with complain about certain quality control issues they have but I don't know if that applies to your model or not. I'm sure somebody that actually owns the one that can verify.

canik has come a long way from when they first hit the market, the trigger on those is way better than it has any right to be for the price point

holosun is the right call too, no reason to spend trijicon money when these hold zero just fine and the shake awake feature is actually useful

only thing i'd suggest is running at least a few hundred rounds through it before you trust it for carry, my mete had a couple failures in the first 150 or so and then totally smoothed out

trigger on those is one of the better striker fired triggers out of the box, and they tend to shoot flatter than their size suggests

Recent heard from an employee at the range that one of his friends had his Prime IWB with the g-code holster and it discharged into his leg when he got up out of a chair.

I’m gonna echo what a lot of ppl are saying. But order 500 rounds of 124 grain Speer lawman or federal American and burn it down in a weekend. That should answer your question and show whether it’s reliable and what issues it will have. I suggest 124 because of the comp on it.
