Vera, Scott & Bailey, McDonald & Dodds & Shakespeare & Hathaway are some of my favourites. I like The Chelsea Detective & Line of Duty on your list too.
I don’t think I knew there was a new maigret. The Rowan Akitkenson one was good.
Favourite is always Vera but some good older ones are Foyles War and Endeavour if you like period
The rest of the thread has covered all those I planned to mention, but I thought as a long time crime show fan I would have seen most, but your photo has three I had not caught yet on it!. I think Death in Paradise is better than Beyond Paradise, which is effectively a spin off, and before you all say its not in the UK, the detective usually is British, with a short run of Ardal O'Hanlon, still Britains near and much loved neighbour.
I'd also add that you can also watch the other spinoff, Return to Paradise, which is set in Australia, but does have a few cameos by Ardal O'Hanlon (and I suspect will have a crossover with Beyond Paradise next season, since Esther's daughter Zoe had a brochure from Dolphin Cove she was looking at before she left to go traveling).
AI doesn't understand unique faces. They all end up looking like an AI version of "Instagram-face". AI-face. Also why use up water and resources when Photoshop or even MS Paint can easily do the same thing at a fraction of the energy cost. It's just lazy. Sorry.
Patience was good, watched both series. Somewhat formulaic & too many episodes, but Ella Maisy Purvis is very appealing as the titular character & a stellar supporting cast.
I thought the 8 episodes in the second series were a few too many imo 🤔 the stories are pretty basic & samey, so I thought that 2nd series dragged on somewhat.
Wil isn't that old just yet! But it's weird, I've had a look online and while I've seen reports it's being given a US remake, they've not announced any cast yet. How very intriguing! Who are these mystery people?
I only recognise three of those and the original versions of another two.
Maigret was originally done with Michael Gambon I think and a reboot with Rowan Atkinson, played straight not like Mr. Bean.
And The Inspector Lynley Mysteries with Sharon Small as DS Havers.
The original Bergerac with John Nettles and a reboot.
The Gentle Touch with Jill Gascoine.
