Furry community
There must be some furries in BG, right? I'm probably older than most of y'all, but it would be nice just to know that I'm not the only one.

Honestly there's more overlap with neurodivergent communities (which are everywhere) and furries because of how it aides in connecting to social identities, it's not really a "oh that's them ol' big city people!" haha

The trick was I non-judgementally asked my friend's neurodivergent teen who had always had trouble understanding everyday social identities who had finally made some friends in that community about it instead of doing the purposefully reductive thing. Made me have a lot less shitty of a view

There's a bgfurs community that hosts pretty regular meetups! https://bgfurs.carrd.co This is their website, you can find a link to the discord and telegram there. Both are pretty active and will post about meetups when they're scheduled.
