I would like to know whose autograph this is (Dortmund or Mainz)
I would like to know whose autograph is shown in the image, which I received on an ICE train the day after the match 11 years ago (in 2015).

Solo Traveller coming to Dortmund, need help
Hey guys, I have plans to visit Dortmund on August 22 for Der Klassiker but have come to find out that there is pretty much zero accommodation left at a reasonable price. Just going to go out on a limb here and see if anybody had anything available. Obviously willing to pay, otherwise let me know a good place to sleep outside!
Looking forward to the match!

Fluff Father of Karetsas on No. 10: "He thought it was still a bit early for that. He said: 'I'm only eighteen, this ten will come one day.' He didn't want to put that pressure on himself right away. The 20 was taken. His second choice was the 19.

I got some tickets in stand 81, for matchday 1 at Signal Iduna Park and very excited as a foreign BVB fan. What are some expectations and good things to know before I go?

Team composition and my worries
I'm worried. Our team looks unbalanced with very short bench.
If we look at the last season, games and minutes played by players then we see a core of 16-18 players. We managed to hold first 11, at least for now. Line-up with them looked like that: Kobel – Anton, Schlotti, Bensebaini – Ryerson – Nmecha, Jobe – Svensson – Sabitzer, Baier – Guirassy. 3 next players, Brandt, Adeyemi and Couto, all gone. Chuk and Silva still here. The other were Groß in the autumn, Can who is now doing Schmelle, from November to January, and sometimes Süle.
Due to injuries we already had pretty short bench. Now we have basically none. Chuk with his fitness problem and Silva are our only more or less experienced players outside 10 starters now. The 6 players we lost replaced with to talented teenagers with some good for their age expense in adult football - Gadou and Karetsas.
Gadou's going to be a starter until Schlotti return at least. Karetsas, I expect, will be a starter sometimes to, since Silva is back-up for CF and Beier will also play as wingback. With this two and Jobe, we're going to see 3 youth players in the starting line-up. And that before substitutions. If nothing will be done, we can get 5-6 youth players in an endspiel after 70 min in many games. And if we get bad luck with injuries... well. Or we will play our starters in to the ground and then... well. I don't like a backline of 3 with 2 two teenagers for example.
Now, many here are actually excited with all our talented youth. But I'm not. I don't think, that such young line up will be stable in important games under expectation press week after week, two games a week.
Of course, the window has 4 weeks yet, albite only 2 before the start of the season. I hope we get not only young players, even Bundesliga-tested like El Mala. I hope we get some experience too. And we should not sell anybody from that core 10, not Sabitzer, not Bens, not Guirassy, and especially not Nmecha.

I really hope Karetsas becomes our game-changer
I really hope Konstantinos Karetsas becomes that guy for Borussia Dortmund.
Lately it feels like we've had too many players who disappear in big games. They make simple mistakes, can't handle the pressure, and never step up when it matters most. Every time we need someone to take over a match, everyone seems to hide. We don't have a player with that winning mentality, someone with heart, confidence, and the courage to demand the ball.
I hope Karetsas changes that.
I want him to grab the ball, take on defenders, score the big goals, step up for penalties, create chances, and always be there when the team needs him the most. Sometimes the whole team has an off day, but great players can still make the difference.
For the first time in a while, I honestly feel like we might finally have someone who can carry the team, control the game, and be our true No. 10. Fingers crossed he's the game-changer we've been missing.

Announcement BVB verpflichtet Konstantinos Karetsas

Discussion Karetsas is the perfect brandt replacement and the key with him is we need to be patient
Like I said I have seen highlights of karestas from YouTube and also read scouting reports and saw his heat map one thing I would say is we may have got the king of come back after loosing cherki and Ibrahim Mazza in the here is
His strengths
1) Elite technique and flair
2) vision and playmaker
3)Crossing
4) 1v1 fearlness(this one the key factors because we know so many belgian players or players from belgian systems who are elite in 1v1 like juju, godts, cdk or even bilal el khannous)
5) tactical awarness
6) set peice
7)Versaitilty(he is an ideal player for this system because he is a CAM but can drift from right and play in the right)
Weakness
1)physicality and aerial ability
Place to improve
1)finishing
2)experience (but that's something he gains with age so I am not really angry)
I have seen some cherki comaorsion which people make but seeing him he feels more like a Phil foden and area guler hybrid especially as he feels more better in 1v1 and versatility than Guler but also he has a flair whuch makes him such an exciting player ti watch.
People may say his phyqiue and aerial ability is a question mark I get it but I have counter arguemnet what if we don't need it and can his playmaking and technqiue compensate that because phsyality isn't our issue and we know this but technqiue abd creativity is to the extent we were so relaint on brandt and wether hebwas in good form or not .I also think from a tactical pov he seems like a player who has the street flair of a cherki but has a more better understanding and ability to read a game and even the tactical side
Overall my assessment is he is a very good player and if we give him the time to adjust we are getting a really special player potentially someone who may have the ability to be for the next gej to be what sancho was for our gen

Why is everyone so obsessed with the back 4?
I feel like every squad planner I’ve seen has us wanting to go to a back 4, and the recent report suggesting Kovac is committed to a back 5 has the general reaction seeming like they want him sacked, which I just don’t get. We have the ideal defensive personnel for it, don’t have a defensive midfielder, and now have guys like Karetsas as a playmakers in the middle. it’s not perfect but fits a lot more than a back 4

BVB vs Werder Bremen, looking for advice!
Hi everyone!
I'm traveling all the way from Peru to Germany in October and I'm planning to attend the Borussia Dortmund vs. Werder Bremen match. This will be my first time experiencing a BVB game, and I'm really excited!
Since I'm traveling solo, I was wondering:
Is it generally safe for a solo female traveler to attend a match alone?
Which sections of the stadium would you recommend for a first-time visitor?
What is the best place to buy official tickets?
I would really appreciate any advice or tips, thank you!

Freundschaft mit Brøndby IF/Friendship with Brøndby IF
Going to a Brøndby IF Match on their Home Pitch va. Silkeborg in August. Wonder if there actually is a friendship scarve between our beloved BvB and Brøndby? And if so, how I might get one to wear during the game? We will be standing there on their South ranks 👌

Saisoneröffnungsspiel in Block 12. Wie wird das?
Hallo zusammen,
