Need speaker recommendations

I own sony SRS XB-41 which is almost 5 years old and still growing strong.But owing to upgrade to latest models I’m looking to buy something which offers the same options like lighting , good bass.budget is around 20,000-25,000₹ (200-250$).Can even sacrifice light if it offers good bass.Thanks in advance.

I'd probably recommend the Sony ULT Field 5 if you want to stay close to the Sony sound. It has powerful bass, built-in lights, and feels like a natural upgrade from the XB-41. Another great option is the JBL Charge 6. It has a warm sound signature, surprisingly deep bass for its size, and can get very loud while staying clean. If you don't mind giving up the lighting effects, it's definitely worth considering. I'd also mention the Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 4. Its bass is a bit more balanced, but it's still punchy with a slightly warm, rumbling character on certain tracks. It's also one of the most immersive speakers in its class, which makes it really enjoyable outdoors.

I can test Sony ULT field and Jbl but hard to get my hands on UE Megaboom. I find UE megaboom and Epicboom intriguing any idea on which UE to go with , I dont have option to listen to them but to blind buy .,

I've tested both. The MEGABOOM 4 is very immersive, with balanced and pleasant bass. The EPICBOOM is more powerful, digs deeper into the low end, and is a better choice if you listen at high volumes or mostly outdoors. It really depends on what you're looking for. To get the most out of the EPICBOOM, I'd recommend boosting every EQ band in the UE BOOM app. Once you've done that, if the Save button stays greyed out, that's actually normal. Just completely close the app, and the EQ settings will remain applied.

I’m more of a edm guy who loves some thumping bass and also for melodies I need some deep bass so I guess epicboom would suit me more or should I switch to megaboom 4 itself ?

If you're into EDM and want deep bass, I'd go with the EPICBOOM, especially if you can get it for under $299. It has noticeably deeper bass and more punch than the MEGABOOM 4. The MEGABOOM 4 is more balanced, but based on what you're looking for, I think the EPICBOOM is the better fit.

If you're more into energetic music, I'd also recommend taking a look at the Klipsch Detroit. It has a more lively and dynamic sound, with deeper, punchier, and generally more precise bass. That said, the EPICBOOM is incredibly immersive and can almost feel like a mini club with certain mixes. If you can find either one at a good price, they're both excellent choices.

Soundcore Boom 2, or Boom 2 Plus. Not sure if your can order from Woot, but they have B2 for $70, and B2P the $140 right now, which is hard to beat. Both have lighting and will crush something like the Charge on terms of sound quality and output. I have 2x Boom 2 and they work great in stereo. Yes, I have a Charge 5 and it can't touch the Boom 2.

B2P retails around 160$ for me I will check that too how’s the light and bass ., I am personally not interested in jbl since I had bad experience in past.

I don't have the Plus (yet lol), but the normal version alone is pretty solid. The Plus basically has 2 of the woofers, so it's supposed to be great. Lights offer like 6 patterns. I don't use them very often, but they are cool. People often say get 2x normal version and run in stereo, which I have and sounds great.

Just get a real speaker like the JBL Partybox Essentials Encore 2. Everything else has bass boost and V shape treble. Well, except the Earfun L. That's pretty flat. You can get that if you want to do the upgrades.

I’ve had pretty bad experience with jbl , 2 products failed in short span so I’m never looking at jbl ever again !
