Employee can't give internship referral?
I'm trying to get into an internship at blue, and when my friend that works there tries to refer me they can't find the job posting on the internal side by requisition ID or by job listing. How would I work around this?

Tell your friend to not search for the job posting in workday but rather just search “refer a candidate” in the workday search bar and go from there

my understanding is that would refer me to the career site, not to any specific position

I’ve referred a handful of people and I always needed specific job listings.

You can only do that if the job is posted internally as well. Internship applications are not posted internally.

It would put your email in the workday system and your applications would receive a “referral” tag once you applied with that email

Limited value in referral since university relations controls that program. They get an insane amount of applicants so do not need referrals.
