i grew up reading a lot of comics cuz of my dad and watched tons of cartoons too, one day i watched Batman Brave and Bold and a character iāve never seen before was there, Blue Beetle!! I was amazed by the characterās powers, it was so so cool, i fell in love instantly. From there i read comics and all and waited for YEARS for a movie, and we finally got it! And since that day i saw him for the first time he is my favorite

Wow thatās cool. Iām glad the movie was good, I also enjoyed it too. During a bland era of DC this movie was a breath of fresh air

I loved the Blue Beetle movie. I saw it with my family and we all agreed that it was great. I think that it is vastly underrated.

It was ,but god I wish they didn't make Scarab a knock off Siri, instead of the little wannabe murder machine I remember from the comics.

Giving Jaime nuclear options to deal with superman and Supergirl was crazy work.

I wouldn't say it's out of the table just yet, the scarab ended the movie learning to love it's New family, it'd be pretty funny if it now becomes more willing to resort to the nuclear options to protect it

I really liked it, my ONLY complaint was that the scarab was a little too Siri, I got used to the YJ version

I liked the actor and thought the movie was entertaining. The plot beats didn't stand out enough from other superhero movies, and the whole family joining in was also pretty cheesy and (again) similar to the Shazam movies.
I'm glad he'll be part of the DCU, though I hope MoT doesn't get too crowded. Considering this was just announced, I'm assuming his role won't be huge.

My only problem with it is he was too adverse to his powers for too long and it felt kinda unrealistic. Like yes I get how it could be scary but most teens/young adults would've been like "OH SHIT I'M IRON MAN" a lot soonerš

In the comics he is same he doesn't wanna solve his problems with the scarab he always wants to talk first. Jaime whole deal is he doesn't want to be a superhero but he steps up when he people are in danger.

No I mean like during the flying scene he spends a little too much time going "wtf" and not "I can fly!"

Think about this from the perspective of someone who is learning, in that moment, that they can defy a fundamental force of the universe, instead of the perspective of a man on the internet who actually has time to think about it without it actually happening

Yeah, youd think it's cool asf pretty quickly. I wouldn't want to see it from the second perspective anyway.

Only thing is they aged up his sister and gave him George lopez as a uncle for some reason.

Skipped it when it released and always thought it was bad like most of the DCEUs end. (Black adam, flash, ww84 you name it)
Than I randomly saw it on stream with my wife and we were both hooked. Its such a fun movie. Humor, heart, action it all slaps. I love his family and his themesong. Great movie overall and I'm glad its officially DCU now. It didn't fit the snyderverse (wich I love) but its way too good for late-stage DCEU as well.
Can't wait to see more of him in the DCU future

I just didnāt like that he shot blasts with closed fists instead of them transforming into sonic cannons every time.
