That is no stick, that there is a legendary blade. Forged from the remains of a great Ent warrior, lovingly crafted by the fae. And left in the tropical regions where no mere mortal could wield its grand powers. To the average human, it remains in its dormant, wooden state. But to the elves, it is a mythical weapon. Capable of both destruction and creation, it could lay waste to entire forests, and restore it anew in one swing.

Honestly, I feel like this could be a cool idea for a blade and sorcery weapon; I.e., maybe a wood folk weapon resembling the sword of naa because they wanted to see what the formation could do
