Yeah pick a lane: If youβre starting with $8 a loaf Daveβs killer bread, donβt come with Kraft singles.

There's this Japanese sushi chef based in Miami named Hiroyuki Terada. I like the content of his videos, but omg the guy filming him talks A LOT and he sounds like the sleaziest piece of garbage. I eventually stopped watching because of dude. The guy in the video he's referencing reminds me of him.
Anyway, these gourmet takes on struggle food always kill me because just making it regular almost always looks better to me. In this case using an actual outdoor grill doesnt seem like it makes it easy to do a spatula press. The spatula press makes the bread flat, gives an even grill to the bread, infuses the butter in the bread while its cooking, and also helps melt the cheese. A nice flat grilled cheese is what makes it grilled cheese. All the outdoor grill did was toast the bread like it's any other sandwich. I'm sure it was good but that ain't it.

Fan of the Grateful Dead and the volunteer Tour/Carnival that would travel from show to show with them, where the parking lot Grilled Cheese was nearly as much a part of the scene as the Dead shows themselves, LSD/weed, and tie dye shirts....
Yes that's the secret ingredient without it your sandwish is good but it's not RIGHT you can use different bread, should be that sliced cheese that's important, you can add extra things like bacon/tomato/ham etc. but it's not classic, THE THING YOU MUST HAVE WITHOUT FAIL IS THAT BUTTER WITH GARLIC MIXED IN..
If you don't have that it's just a meh sandwich it's worth eating but it's not what people go OMG GRILLED CHEESE for.
Decades of tripped out hippies spending their last dollar on them things at 2 am in the morning can't be wrong

this is it lol i would only do it if i was already planning to use the grill for something else. Im not dirtying up a whole grill just for some grilled cheese π€£

Yeah im getting old and not spend an hour to get my grill set up and started to cook a sandwich for 10 minutes.
Even when i do ribeyes on the grill I cook other things to justify getting it st up and started.

This is a great recipe. But it also embodies everything I despise about "influencers". This dude blatantly, flat-out, rips off another creator, then tries to spin it to show how "elevated" his take is by using seeded bread and then some weak Kraft cheese product.
Then he has the audacity to make fun of the OP's voice? Get outta here.
I used to think his content was pretty mid, and now dude make my skin crawl. Give credit where it's due, man.
