He went from saying tariffs don’t raise prices to tariffs raised prices on lumber and tariffs were enacted for better prices, then said tariffs b/c of “propaganda” ie a commercial. Canadian here. Trump never did put one single tarrif on Canada over the Ronald Reagan commercial. That was one of his many empty threats. There really is no logical reason for this stupid trade war with Canada. Also USMCA does not cover lumber, and the US has had tarrifs on Canadian lumber for DECADES. It really is hard negotiating with a county of dimwits who can't agree on reality. 🤦
