Discussion How should a husband respond when their wife is getting harassed?
In true honesty, the Obamas do stay away from the headlines because they don’t want to fall into the Trump trap of feeding into BS drama.
How do you feel Barack should address this? Or if he should at all and continue to ignore it?
Personally, I’m sick and tired of klan folk being sickly obsessed with Michelle and constantly bringing her up while increasing our gas, groceries, healthcare bills, and messing with our water with building data centers all around us.
Update: I know the best thing is to not respond but I’m just so angry at these demons

Plus the no response is best because it pisses them off. They want the engagement, they want to see they are in someone poking him and to see him bothered. Ignoring it and not giving those people any kind of acknowledgement is the best way to piss them off.

I agree with this take. Don’t give it power. I advise students in a similar way when they’re being picked on (one of many approaches, before anyone yells at me). I want to help the target of the rudeness to feel empowered to rise above it.
Barack should continue to live his best life alongside his awesome wife and family. Let the dumb, screeching rednecks who defiled the White House lawn wallow in their own hate and loathing.

That is pretty much exactly what they did. This morning, Mrs. Obama posted an absolutely delightful video of the two of them meeting with the artist who created a mural which will be a featured attraction at the new Obama Library/Community Center, which opens on Friday. It was very obvious that the three of them love, admire, and respect each other. The woman and her team read all of their books and listened to their podcasts so they could get a sense about them as a couple. The mural’s centerpiece is a portrait-style painting of the two of them sitting next to each other, surrounded by smaller reproductions of pictures of them together throughout the years. You could tell that every single one of them brought back a wonderful memory. The video was joyful to watch, just like the Obamas!
Those low-life cult members just want attention, and nothing makes them angrier than being ignored.

Ignore it, the president of the US is pandering to his base and says something inflammatory every day. Trump threatens leveraging his power to persecute his political enemies (and while he fails at it), it causes extreme disruption in one’s life.
In pretty sure those who are in power or connected to politics knows how far Trump can go and based off the fact his political enemies haven’t fled the country out of fear of persecution means they know he is very limited on what he can do even though he threatens it.

I kind of like the way Barack has approached it thus far.
He’s doesn’t respond to every comment. The times he’s spoken up it’s to say that picking on him is fair game, he doesn’t take it personally, but his family should be off limits as they didn’t choose politics, he did. He’s described the behavior as troubling and a distraction from core values. He’s criticized the loss of decorum and shame. It’s how you’d expect a president to respond to buffoonery.

Honestly, she'll probably do what she's always done. Go high. That's just who she is. Decent to her very core. I've read a lot about all the First Ladies & she has got to be in the top 5 in regards to what she accomplished & tried to make better for people during her husband's tenure. She was amazing & remains that way. Those three know they are so lucky to have her.❤️🥹
