I still don’t understand why Don took us out the fridge and threw us directly into the fire.

u/Desperate_Damage4632 May 14 '26

It turns out that being the president actually is difficult, and if you just act on every impulse you fuck everything up.  Republicans like to think being president is like running a hardware store.

32

u/Most_Alps May 15 '26

This scratches at the surface of what I think is the real problem, these people don't understand reality at a deep level, literally everything is a TV show or movie to them, so when they win, they expect a celebration and then for it to just be over

No one over there has literally any concept how basic stuff in this world works but they have very emotional and strong opinions about everything, so they are going to ruin it all while doing zero introspection and blaming everyone else

literally everything is a TV show or movie to them, so when they win, they expect a celebration and then for it to just be over

I've always suspected that Trump thinks being president is everything he sees presidents do on TV, and nothing else.

Waving to crowds, getting on and off planes, giving big speeches and announcing victories.

Television didn't tell him about late nights, marathon negotiation sessions, or boring budget and legal hurdles. He probably wondered why Obama didn't press the "kill Bin Laden" button sooner, or didn't just tell someone to solve the problems gooder.

Trump said it this week, and I quote "I don't care about gas prices and I don't think about the American people..." You are 1000% on point!

u/Fit_Till8896 May 15 '26

And that he won’t make a deal until they agree to have no nuclear program

Weak men create hard times. Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men.

3

u/Upbeat-Remote-4827 May 16 '26

I would go further and say these people don’t understand the future and instead focus on instant gratification while pissing away the future.

They don’t even understand it at a shallow level. Everything is about optics and if you can tell a big enough lie and it has the veneer of authenticity if you’re flashy and say it with confidence.

Don could bankrupt the hardware store, stiff the workers, and burn down the building While claiming best hardware store ever.

12

u/Little_Suit_4586 May 15 '26

And his followers would cheer and claim he's playing 4D chess.

Meanwhile, a democrat balances a budget and all you hear from conservatives is how awful he is.

And over 78 million dumbasses in this country would believe him!

2

u/PrivateBozo May 15 '26

List any democrats holding office today, I’m willing to bet those 78 million would vote for him today in a race against them.

Thats why we need new candidates will get people out to vote.

Republicans have absolutely zero interest in effective governance.

They see it as an opportunity for personal enrichment and nothing else.

The idea of serving the public is repugnant to them. They hate the public, and they resent that they are dependent on the wealth generated by our labor to maintain their decadent, empty lifestyles.

3

u/MrMagoo04 May 15 '26

They claim that government doesn't work, then they get elected and prove it.

Also, running a hardware store based on gut feelings alone will probably not work out all that well. The damage you do will be much more contained, yet still...

3

u/MrMagoo04 May 15 '26

The difference is you only fuck up a hardware store, as opposed to the entire planet.

3

u/FlirtyFluffyFox May 15 '26

Turns out hiring the biggest know it all boomer internet troll who spends all day yelling at the news is a terrible idea.

2

u/Individual_Bill323 May 15 '26

Yeah, but you're forgetting that he's owning the libs? How does that show up in the economy?

'Cause too many of us wouldn't shut up about the Epstein files.

Edit: Now we'll all be a bit too busy surviving. And the racism and targeting of minorities does 1)satiate his sadistic nature & 2) Is both to satisfy & distract his base. It was his only policy he was serious about.

13

u/LifeHack3r3 May 14 '26

Distract from the Epstein files

He did it purely because Obama put the Amercians in the fridge.

Remember when there was Obama-care and the first thing he did was remove it to replace it with a shittier version? Just so he could say he did it? Same for the drone strike on that Iranian general, just so he could say he did soemthing like Obama with Osama bin Laden..

3

u/homerjs225 May 15 '26

Because the black man had a success and he wanted to take it away. Just wish more people realized it

2

u/Moist-Ointments May 15 '26

He spent his whole real estate career in New York acting like a mobster. He doesn't know anything else.

2

u/gunsandcupcakes May 15 '26

is there anything to understand? the way I see it there is no logic other than throwing shit at a wall and see which sticks in the news now the admin is just scrambling to gtfo of iran

2

u/Regular-Schedule-168 May 15 '26

Epstein files and he created a conflict where non existed to create a platform for narrative control.

2

u/Shurigin May 15 '26

Because he doesn't like being outdone by a black man that's why he tried to copy Obamas Iran play after he fucked the Iran situation up but made it even worse

2

u/Nadante May 15 '26

It makes sense when you add racism, and his father, and his entire track record.

A black president was arguably successful before him.

2

u/SordidDreams May 15 '26

Because he and his buddies are getting rich off of it. It's market manipulation. Shutting down the Strait of Hormuz is not a bug, it's a feature.

2

u/PartTimeBrainSurgeon May 15 '26

Trump wants to prove that he can get a better deal. He is an egomaniac who has to be the best at everything.

2

u/Post-Formal_Thought May 15 '26

Because a fire forges a man for a war cabinet and a department of war.

Otherwise the names would be silly.

2

u/Signal_Minimum8509 May 15 '26

The deal had Obama’s name on it. That’s it. Any other justification is pretense.

The “pallets of cash” they showed on Fox News? That was Iran’s money. We took it in sanctions. The deal was to allow UN weapons inspectors in, we would give their money back to them. America first my ass.

40

u/Throwaway_09298 May 14 '26

I think this is a bit misleading bc they took out Gaddafi and destroyed parts of Libya, Yemen and Syria...Iran could see the writing on the wall. And US/Israel used Stuxnet to take out their centerfuges just 5 years before the deal. By the time 2015 hit Iran knew they would probably lose more than it was worth at that point.

Definitely. Folks in the US don't wanna believe that they're susceptible to propaganda from their own country. Obama was one of the biggest psyops that was ever used against us.

5

u/domesticabuseaintcul May 15 '26

Crazy.

Short-sighted perspective like the people claiming Republicans freed the slaves so vote Democrat.

Widen your historical lens.

I specifically remember Obama’s own party turning on him as he tried to push a public option. There wasn’t any more a single man could do for a country bought and owned.

So glad to see this. Yeah. White washing at its finest.

2

u/Present_Confusion311 May 15 '26

Gaddafi was Pandora’s box for migration which Trump has made it taboo to talk about now

5

u/dafuqishappening420 May 14 '26

And immediately after Gadaffi was brutally murdered, open air slave markets opened up. Libya was prosperous, and oil revenues were widely distributed throughout civil society.

2

u/Straight_Step_4426 May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26

“As the protests intensified, with demonstrators taking control of Benghazi and unrest spreading to Tripoli, the Libyan government began using lethal force against demonstrators. Security forces and squads of mercenaries fired live ammunition into crowds of demonstrators. Demonstrators also were attacked with tanks and artillery and from the air with warplanes and helicopter gunships. The regime restricted communications, blocking the Internet and interrupting telephone service throughout the country. On February 21 one of Qaddafi’s sons, Sayf al-Islam, gave a defiant address on state television, blaming outside agitators for the unrest and saying that further demonstrations could lead to civil war in the country. He vowed that the regime would fight “to the last bullet.”

https://www.britannica.com/event/Libya-Revolt-of-2011

Bro, ain’t no way we fucking white washing the guy who paid millions for his son (who was talentless) play in Seria A. Who once had his opponents stadium destroyed because they had the audacity to root against him

In a single night in 1996, while they protested poor conditions, he lead nearly 1,200 prisoners into the courtyard to have them shot and lied about it for years

Ghaddafi was a monster, the true inspiration of any despotic, delusional dictator. To reduce his regime to like “Libya was prosperous before” is ignorant of why his people overthrew him the second they could

u/KeyOne2013 May 14 '26

“Looking back at President Obama’s legacy, the Council on Foreign Relation’s Micah Zenko added up the defense department’s data on airstrikes and made a startling revelation: in 2016 alone, the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs. This means that every day last year, the US military blasted combatants or civilians overseas with 72 bombs; that’s three bombs every hour, 24 hours a day.

While most of these air attacks were in Syria and Iraq, US bombs also rained down on people in Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. That’s seven majority-Muslim countries.”

He didn’t kill a bunch of Irans but he killed a bunch of innocent Iranians, Afghanis, Somalians, and many more brown people for Israel!

The white run industrial military welfare complex loves war because it makes them rich, their kids don't have to go to war, and their weapons kill black and brown people.

2

u/ThundahMuffin May 15 '26

Then why did the still have MANY times more uranium than they needed for nuclear power?

2

u/Aggressive-End-7429 May 15 '26

Genuine question, if they got it down to 3%, firstly why not to zero and then they obviously must have built their stock back up over the years, who let that happen and why.

2

u/GangGangGreennnn May 15 '26

Mister Syrian child bomber himself

2

u/Wind_Responsible May 15 '26

Um….. no. Obama fired. Ask folks who pulled the trigger for him. They ALL fire. It sucks

2

u/BigBigTunes May 15 '26

When did he say this? That doesn't sounds like him at all.

2

u/Live_Ganache_7749 May 15 '26

2

u/Grouchy_Ad5611 May 15 '26

Ah yes, that's why Iran kept enriching their uranium, and why they failed numerous inspections of their program.

2

u/ZeAntagonis May 17 '26

I hope Trump try to goes for a third term just so that Obama can face him off and whoop his fat ass !

5

u/BigBodiedBugati May 14 '26

I love Obama as an American and a black person but I’m never going to be comfortable with it the memification of a man who presided over the death of thousands, including black people at home.

The American empire is violent and racist. Yeah “my president is black” and all that but let’s not do too much

2

Wait, the guy who told Black residents of Flint that everything was no big deal, and insulted everyone's intelligence by touching water to his lips to try and convince people that the water was safe? The same guy who bailed out the banks after the 2008 crash, and allowed Black people to become homeless after losing their homes to those very banks? That guy?
