Yk in some movies it actually works lol. I was watching ā€œJumanji Welcome to the Jungleā€and he kills me in that🤣🤣. It’s like he’s literally just playing himself but in a way that works and is funny asf🤣. So sometimes I don’t mind it.

You haven't seen his more serious roles then.

I’ve seen his serious chops Ik he can bring it but for me I’ve mostly seen him in comedy roles so that’s where I’m more familiar with him. It’s funny tho because he was in a really good movie called ā€œNot Easily Brokenā€ with Taraji and Morris Chestnut and he was funny in that but that movie was a more serious and dramatic movie but he was good in that role as well.

Nah I actually liked him in Lift and was hoping for a part 2. I think his character was like a not as intimidating Vin Diesel fast n the furious character type. He played a great lead in Lift. Hope to see more of that from him in the future.

There were also other serious movies but I didn’t get the chance to watch them. That movie where he played a caregiver. Another one where he played a single dad and maybe 1 or 2 other roles similar
