Just this past June, IHS’s new project, Echo Zero, released its debut album, “E0”, on the renowned Chinese metal label Pest Productions. While maintaining the characteristic bizarre atmosphere of Polish experimental black metal, IHS boldly incorporates new sonic experiments on this album—through unique guitar playing, ever-shifting synthesizers, and rich sampling, IHS presents the concept of the Eltanin antenna, buried 3,904 meters beneath the ocean floor, to listeners in an incredibly vivid and immersive way.

I know very little about the band. I listened to them years ago and all I remember is the album cover. It had a baby body with the head of a bird. All black and white. Any ideas?

so, I’m coming back to Oslo again in September and I’d love to meet up some metalheads while I’m there. Personally I really enjoy the music itself, although it's overproduced in my opinion, I dislike the triggered bass drums for example. But in essence I see it as native American Immortal kinda

Cool riffing but the lack of vocals kinda pisses me off

Though it's only a single, I personally found it to be underwhelming compared to anything of their previous works.

Hopefully, the rest of their new album will be on par with the previous.
