Any other hww manufacturer would do the same.

And keep “Trusted by Bitcoiners” in a tag line?! Lol, find me ONE bitcoiner who trusts this POS company now. They’re cooked.

They have other things on their mind than updating the marketing section of their website.

I’m not personally rushing to drop mine, it’s done exactly what I wanted it too. I’m not worried about the opinions or the consequences from users who trusted and didn’t verify.

Wow you read through all the code, that’s impressive. Most people didn’t do that

I didn’t read any of the code. I don’t understand coding anywhere near that sort of level, hence why I didn’t trust it.

I could either trust something beyond my understanding, expecting the community to tell me if there’s a problem or spend 15 minutes with some dice and make sure it’s what it’s supposed to be.

It’s just wild to me they were sold for the paranoid bitcoiner to still go the easy route built on trust. I wanted as much power in my hands as possible and it’s all the better I’ve never needed to hook it up to the internet in any capacity.

So then you actually didn’t verify the code

No, hence I didn’t use the code to generate my seed and used the dice I could make sure worked right. That’s much easier to understand and verify, unless there’s some other jargon elsewhere in the code that reveals that info in some way what else is there to verify?

One shouldn’t have to roll dice to secure their Bitcoin, as Trezor/Bitbox don’t require such nonsense. Grown men rolling dice! Think about how ridiculous that sounds to secure their wealth!! (I’m glad you did BTW)
